Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Polikarp Miheev made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona Lassa's goalkeeper Polikarp Miheev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Feliu in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Gerardo Pozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 45 minutes, Radamel Falcao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barcelona Lassa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radamel Falcao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 48 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Polikarp Miheev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Polikarp Miheev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 97th minute of the match. Chile's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
