Armin Proietto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Indiano to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute of the match, Wiktor Bator tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thiago Pliego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 24 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armin Proietto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armin Proietto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Bator in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Hamdani Djunjunan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wiktor Bator stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Jangkrik Boss got a freekick which was hit by Buyung Setiamiharja. 52 minutes into the match, Jangkrik Boss's goalkeeper Armin Proietto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Casaus. In the 56th minute, Hamdani Djunjunan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Jangkrik Boss's goalkeeper Armin Proietto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 余烨政, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armin Proietto having to make a save. 63 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armin Proietto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After a rather tough play, Chile's Gerardo Pozo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Cornelius Ariwibowo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Cornelius Ariwibowo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Armin Proietto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
