Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peru were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Racing Miami Futbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Julian Murillo got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-1. 21 minutes into the match. After 26 minutes, Sol Bartlett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Miami Futbol Club and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 27 minutes, Peru's Luz Tejedor got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Guilherme Veiga. Guilherme Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of the match. Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Julian Murillos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Guilherme Veiga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Guilherme Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nathanial Coppack made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Guilherme Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 played minutes Racing Miami Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Nathanial Coppack. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Guilherme Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 67th minute of play. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodney Hagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nathanial Coppack in the 71 minute of the game. Guilherme Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 74th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trey Echols. In the 84th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chance Adams. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guilherme Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution.
