Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Gamus having to interfere. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Guaberto Gamus made a huge save. In the 17th minute of the game Flávio Arósio made a throw-in which Igor Mota played forward. With a little luck, Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Salvador Gisbert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus. Guaberto Gamus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Flávio Arósio with Igor Mota as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Bandeca FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Hugo Ribeiro hit a great ball. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute, Igor Mota left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bandeca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 68th minute of play. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guaberto Gamus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Guaberto Gamus. Bandeca FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Secada to maneuver through the defense. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Bandeca FC's Igor Mota slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-2 after 91 minutes of play. Vito Montenegro lost his temper 96 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 95th minute, one of Bandeca FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bandeca FC. Tomas Illescas shot the penalty kick right outside the post.
