The Que La Gente Crea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Vale should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, USA's Diego Bradley got a free kick in the 36th minute. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Ramone in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match, Monty Rogers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristian Vale saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 39th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, USA's Cristian Vale threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edward Mcdonald, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Que La Gente Crea's Petrică Bebeșel got a free kick in the 45th minute. Cassius Byrne hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Ramone was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Campbell, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. USA's Marco Baker was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristian Vale in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. USA were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Que La Gente Crea's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jenson Smith took the corner. After taking down the ball on USA's corner Jenson Smith fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristian Vale quite easily take care of the ball. Marco Day was a little too slow when Fredrik Alebeck got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 3-2.
