Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Amado Larra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Cidro in the 8th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Santos Ferdinand tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amado Larra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amado Larra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amado Larra. Amado Larra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Amado Larra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of the match. Amado Larra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezia FC's Amado Larra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Amado Larra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Larra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute of the match Clemente Rodriguez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Felix Montenegro got in the 57th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Amado Larra handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Venezia FC's Vladimiro Izotz got a free kick in the 60th minute. Amado Larra was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. In the 64th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amado Larra was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Venezia FC's Amado Larra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Venezia FC from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amado Larra. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 74th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amado Larra was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 74 played minutes Venezia FC got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Eneto. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amado Larra saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 81st match minute, Venezia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Innocenzio to maneuver through the defense. Venezia FC's Amado Larra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Venezia FC from getting a goal against them. Luis Andino succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. After having played for 91 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clemente Rodriguez's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Rodriguez helped the player get up and apologised. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Amado Larra made a huge save. The Venezia FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
