Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Daniel Jienescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of the match. GoalHunters's Daniel Jienescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of play. Octav Stoicescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Jienescu having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Jerrold in the 18th minute of play. With an all-out effort, GoalHunters's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedro Jerrold, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 30th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jienescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Jerrold blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. After 36 minutes of play, GoalHunters's Denis Oprescu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Oprescu to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Pedro Jerrold mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GoalHunters and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th match minute, GoalHunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Jerrold to maneuver through the defense. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octav Stoicescu charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octav Stoicescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Octav Stoicescu hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by GoalHunters's Octav Stoicescu. But to his dismay, Octav Stoicescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After having played for 69 minutes, Denis Oprescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GoalHunters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Oprescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Denis Oprescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Denis Oprescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Bhadrayu Sethi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, GoalHunters's Pedro Jerrold got a free kick in the 76th minute. Daniel Jienescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when GoalHunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Stoicescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Jerrold in the 89th minute of play. Daniel Jienescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Jienescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, GoalHunters could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
