Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bastien Domenge charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bastien Domenge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. La Maquina 9-12-18:s Jose Vimaro showed great skill when he stopped Luz Tejedor:s penalty. In the 20th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Vimaro was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Jose Vimaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 24th minute of the match. Alonso Berganza made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that La Maquina 9-12-18's Jose Vimaro managed to reach the ball for a save. Jose Vimaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 35th minute of the match. Albert Gaardahl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play forced La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Jose Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Maquina 9-12-18's Jose Vimaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Julian Murillo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jose Vimaro. Jose Vimaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Vachon was the one to do the kick off. Carmelo Vachon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Milagros Fraga came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jose Vimaro could save by the left post. In the 55th minute, Efraim Gilabert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, La Maquina 9-12-18's Alberto Luken tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bastien Domenge in the 58th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jose Vimaro. That made the score 0-3 in the 62 minute of play. In the 69th minute Carmelo Vachon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Jose Vimaro in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jose Vimaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th match minute, La Maquina 9-12-18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hidayet Baran to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Luken kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. A collision led to La Maquina 9-12-18 getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Alberto Luken hit a great ball. When Carmelo Vachon fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Maquina 9-12-18's protests and gave Carmelo Vachon a yellow card for diving instead. 90 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Jose Vimaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. The corner led Peru's Alonso Berganza to fire away a dangerous shot which Jose Vimaro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Peru played a much better game than La Maquina 9-12-18 and deserved their victory. The La Maquina 9-12-18 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
