Benji Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Newpi Academy's Benji Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 20th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benji Price having to interfere. Newpi Academy's Benji Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 27th minute of play. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 34th minute of play forced Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Benji Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benji Price saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benji Price narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 61st minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benji Price came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Victor Denver fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newpi Academy's protests and gave Victor Denver a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Newpi Academy's Victor Denver got a free kick in the 71st minute. With a little luck, Newpi Academy's Benji Price got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benji Price was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lautaro Mancebo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 76 minute of play. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benji Price having to interfere. Juninho Pernambucano made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mexico's Facundo Cadaval. Benji Price didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benji Price saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mexico played a much better game than Newpi Academy and deserved their victory. The Newpi Academy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
