A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 12th minute of play forced Biene Maja 09's goalkeeper Burkhardt Teubler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ullrich Böhlert in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Ullrich Böhlert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Biene Maja 09's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. The supporters of Mexico booed when Biene Maja 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Trabold didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Joel Gaona sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Biene Maja 09's Burkhardt Teubler didn't even have to move. 23 minutes in the game, Lautaro Mancebo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Burkhardt Teubler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Mancebo's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Burkhardt Teubler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. After 43 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. After having played for 44 minutes, Zhao Fei Ling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biene Maja 09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zhao Fei Ling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Biene Maja 09's Maxim Hagedorn was substituted for Ullrich Böhlert. Nils Hydén blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Hydén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Leoz kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Nils Hydén had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils Hydén was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Mexico booed when Biene Maja 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erling Gustafsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Burkhardt Teubler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 77th minute of play. Burkhardt Teubler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Tafalla's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Gustafsson in the 81st minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Hydén in the 83rd minute of the match. If Erling Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maxim Hagedorn hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Mexico were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
