Hjalmar Håkansson hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play forced The Northmen Army's goalkeeper Stig Bengtsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Ecuador's Agustín Saelices looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 18th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Bengtsson having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, The Northmen Army's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Stig Bengtsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Hershel Guertin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stig Bengtsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Näfver in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, The Northmen Army's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Stig Bengtsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hershel Guertin was the one to do the kick off. Marc Lagerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Stig Bengtsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Christopher Ahlerot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Cristian Sancho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 60 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hershel Guertin, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, The Northmen Army's Kevin Näfver sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to The Northmen Army getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Christopher Ahlerot hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Bengtsson having to interfere. Stig Bengtsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 73rd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Stig Bengtsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hershel Guertin, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Lagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christopher Ahlerot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sebastian Wacherhausen fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Northmen Army's protests and gave Sebastian Wacherhausen a yellow card for diving instead. Sebastian Wacherhausen kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Stig Bengtsson. The Northmen Army's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
