An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias-Alexander Jamieson in the 10th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urmas Känsäkangas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Urmas Känsäkangas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Otto Nørlinger might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Otto Nørlinger ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias-Alexander Jamieson in the 18th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urmas Känsäkangas saved SK Gullegem from getting behind. Urmas Känsäkangas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Urmas Känsäkangas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 31 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Edward Scigan. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urmas Känsäkangas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urmas Känsäkangas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 40thth minute of the game Mathias-Alexander Jamieson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when SK Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Scigan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedicto Atarratze kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Urmas Känsäkangas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The SK Gullegem fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when SK Gullegem's Mathias-Alexander Jamieson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hannes Jamieson in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Hannes Jamieson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urmas Känsäkangas having to interfere. Mathias-Alexander Jamieson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Urmas Känsäkangas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias-Alexander Jamieson in the 79th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Bruno Renan:s penalty. When Jacky Jamieson fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Gullegem's protests and gave Jacky Jamieson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute Mathias-Alexander Jamieson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 98th minute. SK Gullegem were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
