Aris Zanteroglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 10th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris in the 12th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Rigoberto Mina got his second yellow card in the match during the 21st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pipis Thiakos during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26thth minute of the game Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Orestis Daras came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Jose F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orestis Daras couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 minutes of play, Jose F.C.'s Ntinos Kaliakatsos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Jose F.C.'s Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 after 44 minutes of play. In the 47th minute, Periklis Pagopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Periklis Pagopoulos in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris in the 74th minute of play. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aris Zanteroglou having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orestis Daras, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Periklis Pagopoulos during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Jose F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Periklis Pagopoulos to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, Jose F.C. could leave the field as winners, despite Venezuela having more of the ball for most of the match.
