An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 3rd minute of play forced Suprs Academia's goalkeeper Jacek Ptaszek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abram Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Jacek Ptaszek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amílcar Leiria in the 8th minute. In the 11th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Carballar to maneuver through the defense. Macit Sağıt was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Bai Shi Ao took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacek Ptaszek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Suprs Academia's goalie and right to Joshua Garrido. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Suprs Academia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacek Ptaszek saved Suprs Academia from getting behind. The supporters of Colombia booed when Suprs Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Ptaszek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Axel Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Jacek Ptaszek. Suprs Academia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 54th minute, Macit Sağıt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Macit Sağıt went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Amílcar Leiria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Amílcar Leiria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacek Ptaszek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Amílcar Leiria in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. Amílcar Leiria scored 3-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. In the 74thth minute of the game Macit Sağıt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Wang Jun Xi made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. After a rather tough play, Suprs Academia's Charlie Hultin got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Suprs Academia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. Colombia's Kevin Mastache was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jacek Ptaszek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macit Sağıt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Suprs Academia's Aparício Rebocho got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Secada in the 84th minute of play forced Suprs Academia's goalkeeper Jacek Ptaszek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Kevin Mastache went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Luis Cazalla at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Suprs Academia. 4-3. Macit Sağıt took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. Jacek Ptaszek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of Colombia booed when Suprs Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macit Sağıt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Suprs Academia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
