After a defensive mix-up in Cylon's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 林城谦 came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. 马远银 kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Uruguay were the better team. Uruguay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
