The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Placido Orlo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Placido Orlo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Placido Orlos short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benicio Tomi was slow to take the kick. During this time SaRaZa's players had a chance to rest. Placido Orlo in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steen Kløvgaard in the 39th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Placido Orlo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Placido Orlo to strike the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Orlo in the 51st minute of play. Damaso Mon came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jóann Pombo in the 67th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Venezuela's Patricio Costa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Damaso Mon. Damaso Mon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steen Kløvgaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The supporters of SaRaZa booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Damaso Mon in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. A hard shot 86 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Damaso Mon managed to make a qualified save. SaRaZa's players were relieved. In the 88th minute, Venezuela's Patricio Costa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-3. In the 91st minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Mon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Piotr Major kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SaRaZa fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
