The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Villar in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gauthier Carayol who took care of the corner kick. Fierce's Gauthier Carayol was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Fierce's Enrique Villar in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Steevy Ragot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Enrique Villar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Enrique Villar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. A collision led to Fierce getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Roberto Batuecas hit a great ball. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Steevy Ragot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 24th minute of the match. After 27 minutes, Roberto Batuecas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fierce and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. 30 minutes into the match, Fierce's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Steevy Ragot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steevy Ragot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 31st minute of play. Enrique Villar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Enrique Villar slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 42nd minute. Steevy Ragot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. Fierce's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Moises Tafalla scored to the left of an out of position Steevy Ragot, making the score, 2-1. The supporters of Fierce booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Cabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 minutes, Salomon Pélage mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fierce and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Salomon Pélage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Villar in the 60th minute of the match. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 61st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Enrique Villar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fierce's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Villar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fierce's Roberto Batuecas got his second yellow card of the match in the 65th minute. The referee ordered Roberto Batuecas off the ground. In the 66th match minute, Fierce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Batuecas to maneuver through the defense. Steevy Ragot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The supporters of Honduras booed when Fierce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Uxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Villa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Steevy Ragot made a huge save. After having played for 85 minutes, Salomon Pélage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fierce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salomon Pélage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrique Villar made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. 93 minutes into the match, Fierce's goalkeeper Steevy Ragot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. The Fierce fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
