Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Enrique Villar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fierce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fierce's Enrique Villar got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Fierce's Enrique Villar got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Gauthier Carayol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Gauthier Carayol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrique Villar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. In the 19th minute Ronald Lacour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Villar came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Villar, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Ronald Lacour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Puig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Steevy Ragot having to make a save. Gauthier Carayol charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gauthier Carayol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Fierce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gauthier Carayol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steevy Ragot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Villar in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Villar's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Davi Corrêa took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Davi Corrêa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Villar in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomon Pélage in the 79th minute of the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Bonnière in the 81st minute of play. Steevy Ragot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Puig in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the game, Fierce's Enrique Villar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Fierce booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute Enrique Villar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Villar in the 93rd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Costa Rica players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fierce.
