After taking down the ball on Pesqueira City's corner Ionuț Iniesta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Sebastião Quintal took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Marco Day to make any attempt to save it. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 93rd minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Pesqueira City were victorious despite being under pressure from USA for much of the match.
