Honorato Gotzon hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisito Salvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, Japy Man's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Luisito Salvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Francisco Seco sped through Japy Man's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luisito Salvino. If Jacobo Pacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Sainz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Luisito Salvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Japy Man's Bai Kuan got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 27 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Escribano. After having played for 28 minutes, Jacobo Pacho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Japy Man's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Pacho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes in the game, Darman Ardiansyah fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Jacobo Pacho struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Japy Man. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Pacho in the 39th minute of play. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Luisito Salvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Japy Man players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uruguay were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacobo Pacho struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Japy Man. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luisito Salvino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Luisito Salvino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Luisito Salvino in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Camilo Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85thth minute of the game Darman Ardiansyah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute Jacobo Pacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cleto Iraido made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. The supporters of Japy Man booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball.
