In the 66th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. FC Maslak's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 66 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. After a rather tough play, FC Maslak's Tomasz Franzik got a free kick in the 67th minute. 72 minutes into the match, FC Maslak's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Hieronim Mockiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Sobania's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla suffered a sore foot after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Daniel Bucyki fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Maslak's protests and gave Daniel Bucyki a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Maslak getting a freekick after 97 minutes play.
