After a rather tough play, Newton FC's Enzo Albanesi got a free kick in the 14th minute. A throw-in in the 15th minute of the game was made by Leo Valiente with Annadeva Flumian as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Annadeva Flumian's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Annadeva Flumian helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Newton FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Annadeva Flumian hit a great ball. Newton FC's Zeledon Hug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Tafalla in the 26th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Annadeva Flumian in the 27th minute of the match. Feliciano Errapel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Feliciano Errapel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newton FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Hug was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Leo Valiente made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Milagros Cabal. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's Luca Espinar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pastor Gartxot, made in the 76th minute of the game. In the 79th match minute, Newton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Albanesi to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 79th minute.
