Cléber Souza came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute of the match Cacá Ramos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa skillfully saved the ball. After 20 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléber Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cléber Souza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 24th minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Barreto couldn't finish the play. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Magno Leite was substituted for Arnt Aronsen.
