Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Guter Tobia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Guter Tobia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Guter Tobia tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, Guter Tobia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcial Bakar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Aves Negras were awarded a corner in the 100th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clarence Seedorf took the corner. The corner led Aves Negras's Marten Descamps to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Aves Negras fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
