Shaki Conn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Jerardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, ForestFire's Roberto Bonano threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lucas Navarro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Carolo Jerardo came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Deportivo Pergamino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Jerardo couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute Carolo Jerardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaki Conn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Jerardo in the 44th minute of play forced ForestFire's goalkeeper Shaki Conn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind ForestFire's goalkeeper Shaki Conn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Kang Li struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Shaki Conn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Pergamino. In the 61st minute Deportivo Pergamino were awarded a corner. Albino Jeraldo went to the cornerflag to take it. Deportivo Pergamino's Albino Jeraldo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Shaki Conn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nunez Oroitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Shaki Conn made a huge save. 77 minutes into the game, Tracy Shah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ForestFire's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Pergamino the free kick. In the 77th match minute, ForestFire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tracy Shah to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pergamino's goal looked a bit too open when Brad Brock came free, but Roberto Bonano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
