Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valeriu Dănălache in the 17th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS:s goal. Julio Vera had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Eddie Van Halen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With an all-out effort, BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Filiberto Normando, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 45th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Normando, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Epifanio Xacintu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS's goalkeeper Epifanio Xacintu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Filiberto Normando took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Epifanio Xacintu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Epifanio Xacintu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 95 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS the free kick. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Normando in the 96th minute of play. The BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
