Bruno Renan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of the match. Bruno Renan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Florestal Futebol Clube's Marcinho Mineiro in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Florestal Futebol Clube's Zé Paulo de Toledo was substituted for Reinaldo Porto. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Camargo in the 69th minute of play. José Paulo de Lara struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Florestal Futebol Clube. In the 83rd minute José Paulo de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Camargo in the 86th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
