In the 31st match minute, Mechanical Orange FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Garner to maneuver through the defense. If Dennis Termander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Dennis Termander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Felix Garner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Dennis Termander made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Dennis Termander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Dennis Termander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dennis Termander's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Mechanical Orange FC's Jess Francis got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 62 minutes of play, Mechanical Orange FC's Dennis Termander made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mechanical Orange FC's Jaime Stubbs got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jess Francis hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Mechanical Orange FC's Jacob Oliver got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacob Oliver. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd minute, Felix Garner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Termander in the 86th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Jonathan Venegas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mechanical Orange FC the free kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Mechanical Orange FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Garner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
