Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmundo Espiga got the match started through his kick off. In the 12th minute, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Nicolae Niculcea seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nicolae Niculcea the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nicolae Niculcea had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Ovidiu Moțoc. But to his dismay, Ovidiu Moțoc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 20 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandu Paraschivescu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Finteșteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Șerban Finteșteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Espiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 90thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Șerban Finteșteanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-1. Șerban Finteșteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 94th minute of play.
