Alberto Tafalla succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. If Bennvar Savage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Erik Brun in the 33rd minute of the match. The throw-in from Leonardo Leoz in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MaKaRa SPOR's Şentürk Serdaroğlu. Stein Hermansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bennvar Savage to strike the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Savage, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murathan İspirli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 63rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Murathan İspirli in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66thth minute of the game Bennvar Savage who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Murathan İspirli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great ball. Murathan İspirli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 76th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Bennvar Savage cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bennvar Savage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mexico were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
