The throw-in from Camilo Franco in the 9th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Nicolae Niculcea. Șerban Finteșteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 11th minute of the match. Alberto Gisbert scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Șerban Finteșteanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Șerban Finteșteanu having to interfere. Sandu Paraschivescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Șerban Finteșteanu was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Maximiliano Escribano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maximiliano Escribano really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 82nd minute of play forced C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goalkeeper Șerban Finteșteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Paraschivescu in the 84th minute of the match. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ciprian Boșneag in the 86th minute. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Escribano got free with Șerban Finteșteanu in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sandu Paraschivescu's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandu Paraschivescu helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes C Ａ R D I N Ａ L got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Paraschivescu. Uruguay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
