Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the game, AC MiLaN's Silvio Jatsu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Victor Curea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Emil Văcărescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. AC MiLaN's Victor Curea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save AC MiLaN from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Silvio Jatsu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind AC MiLaN's goalkeeper Victor Curea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute Silvio Jatsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Jatsu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Thiago Pliego when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The AC MiLaN fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when AC MiLaN's Silvio Jatsu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Marin Dindelegan managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC MiLaN's supporters rose to their feet, but Marin Dindelegan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC MiLaN's goalkeeper Victor Curea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 69th minute of play forced AC MiLaN's goalkeeper Victor Curea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Curea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute Eliodor Moisescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC MiLaN's Basarab Avram was substituted for Emil Văcărescu. AC MiLaN were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filip Vlaicu took the corner. Filip Vlaicu made a great header on AC MiLaN's corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save. Filip Vlaicu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. In the 87th minute, AC MiLaN's Silvio Jatsu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-5. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 4-6 when Basarab Avram sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AC MiLaN walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
