The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Uwe Septinius in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Federico Insúa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Uwe Septinius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Insúa in the 35th minute of play. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Uwe Septinius made a huge save. Julian Murillo kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 40thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Los Liquisue FC's keeper Uwe Septinius was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Los Liquisue FC's Uwe Septinius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Los Liquisue FC from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Uwe Septinius. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Uwe Septinius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 52nd minute of play. Uwe Septinius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Los Liquisue FC's Paolo Xabat got a free kick in the 74th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Los Liquisue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Uwe Septinius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great ball. Rafael Gallo scored 2-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uwe Septinius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
