Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eugênio de Carvalho kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Breguete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adilson Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jailson Soares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 13 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Eugênio de Carvalho scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guillermo Mariano charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Mariano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Breguete FC's Adilson Ortiz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roderick van Boxel. After a rather tough play, Breguete FC's Joaquim Seco got a free kick in the 31st minute. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Breguete FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nando Custódio in the 35th minute. A nice corner shot did that Nando Custódio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Eugênio de Carvalho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eugênio de Carvalho really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1.

Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joshua Secada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jailson Soares having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Eugênio de Carvalho made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Eugênio de Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Eugênio de Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Benê Fernandez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jailson Soares having to make a save. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roderick van Boxel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Breguete FC's Eugênio de Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jailson Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugênio de Carvalho in the 85th minute of play. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Roderick van Boxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Eugênio de Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Breguete FC. After a rather tough play, Breguete FC's Adilson Ortiz got a free kick in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that Breguete FC were the better team. Breguete FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
