Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nando Rivera during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Pacífico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Rivera to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 肖志庭's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Sebastian Frey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Frey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Sebastian Frey managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 17thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pacífico FC's Sebastian Frey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pacífico FC's Nando Rivera got his second yellow card of the match in the 18th minute. The referee ordered Nando Rivera off the ground. Nando Rivera kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The corner led Honduras's Edmundo Espiga to fire away a dangerous shot which Sebastian Frey despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Edmundo Espiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Sebastian Frey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pacífico FC's goalie prevented a goal. A throw-in in the 36th minute of the game was made by Gregorio Dantae with 肖志庭 as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 肖志庭 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Frey was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. With his leg Sebastian Frey managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 肖志庭 made a kick off. Severino Mano hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Despite this Sebastian Frey quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Milagros Cabal charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Milagros Cabal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Severino Mano took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 66 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Carvallo. In the 72nd minute Severino Mano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Frey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Moises Tafalla got a throw-in 76 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Edmundo Espiga. Sebastian Frey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 76th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Pacífico FC's 肖志庭. But to his dismay, 肖志庭 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Sebastian Frey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. Gregorio Dantae hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sebastian Frey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Honduras reached it. When Magno Neiva fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pacífico FC's protests and gave Magno Neiva a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Honduras booed when Pacífico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magno Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luca Espinar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastian Frey. Pacífico FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 92nd minute, 肖志庭 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Valentín Carvallo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Severino Mano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Frey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 98th minute of play. The Pacífico FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pacífico FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
