Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Görkem İlsev took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Berkan Şavat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Görkem İlsev came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Korcan Özveri during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Batman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korcan Özveri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 11th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tayfur Kiner but with some difficulty. 14 minutes into the match, Batman's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Tayfur Kiner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes Batman got a freekick which was hit by Sabri Ekabir. After a rather tough play, Batman's Hıdır Sufi got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Tayfur Kiner in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkan Şavat in the 33rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Görkem İlsev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Görkem İlsev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the game, Batman's Berkan Şavat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Tasis during the 41st minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tayfur Kiner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd minute Lautaro Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayfur Kiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Sabri Ekabir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 61st minute. Tayfur Kiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 72nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Batman's zone, Eliseo Noboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayfur Kiner came out of the goal and Eliseo Noboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Ferrant's late challenge caught a Batman's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Ferrant helped the player get up and apologised. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Görkem İlsev put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Batman's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
