Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Görkem İlsev started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Görkem İlsev made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahadır Memduh in the 8th minute of play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Batman's Berkan Şavat. But to his dismay, Berkan Şavat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Korcan Özveri hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Berkan Şavat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berkan Şavat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Tayfur Kiner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the game, Batman's Sabri Ekabir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. If Binali Kutbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sabri Ekabir came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Batman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sabri Ekabir couldn't finish the play. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Görkem İlsev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Tasis scored 2-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tayfur Kiner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sabri Ekabir hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Görkem İlsev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Rubio's late challenge caught a Batman's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berkan Şavat, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Binali Kutbay in the 47th minute of play.

After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Sabri Ekabir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Sabri Ekabir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Görkem İlsev in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Batman's Berkan Şavat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-4 after 57 minutes of play. After 65 played minutes Batman got a freekick which was hit by Batıhan Oncel. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. Juan Rubio was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Görkem İlsev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. When Görkem İlsev came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Batman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Görkem İlsev couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Binali Kutbay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Batman booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabri Ekabir in the 88th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Bahadır Memduh could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post.
