Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mariano Lacasa kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Bide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Ceandro in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of NYC United booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by NYC United's Rigoberto Ceandro. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Ceandro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 16 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Alan Tamayo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bumin Mete in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Domingo Bide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 25th minute. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingo Bide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Ceandro came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Ceandro in the 31st minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bumin Mete in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, NYC United's goalkeeper Domingo Bide had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingo Bide saved NYC United from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bumin Mete in the 44th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Rigoberto Ceandro made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 53rd minute of play forced NYC United's goalkeeper Domingo Bide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, NYC United's 肖阳夕 got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Bide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Bide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Domingo Bide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Mariano Lacasa put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Domingo Bide. NYC United's Domingo Bide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 82nd minute of play. After 90 minutes, Albino Criston mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NYC United and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingo Bide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Mariano Lacasa scored 2-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingo Bide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
