In the 3rd minute, Tyler McThomas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CF GRAND VALLE's Ilie Borogeanu didn't even have to move. 6 minutes into the match, CF GRAND VALLE's goalkeeper Ilie Borogeanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Facundo Nahas. 8 minutes into the match, CF GRAND VALLE's goal looked a bit too open when Tyler McThomas came free, but Ilie Borogeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilie Borogeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyler McThomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute of the match Port Edinburgh AFC got a corner. CF GRAND VALLE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tyler McThomas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ştefan Aldea during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes CF GRAND VALLE got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Aldea. With a little luck, CF GRAND VALLE's Ilie Borogeanu got control of the ball when Facundo Nahas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Facundo Nahas put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ilie Borogeanu. 21 minutes into the match, Port Edinburgh AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Barbăsură came free, but Tony McHarold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Facundo Nahas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Ilie Borogeanu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tyler McThomas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Port Edinburgh AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the last second Ilie Borogeanu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tyler McThomas in the 30thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With his leg Ilie Borogeanu managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Port Edinburgh AFC's Facundo Nahas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Port Edinburgh AFC's Tyler McThomas in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CF GRAND VALLE's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute, Facundo Nahas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Port Edinburgh AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Leonard Bodiu charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Bodiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes CF GRAND VALLE got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Bodiu. Ilie Borogeanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Facundo Nahas in the 41st minute. In the 41st minute, Port Edinburgh AFC's Facundo Nahas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ilie Borogeanu. Ilie Borogeanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. After 45 minutes, Aurelian Barbăsură mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CF GRAND VALLE and the Port Edinburgh AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Port Edinburgh AFC booed when CF GRAND VALLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Barbăsură didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tyler McThomas made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Facundo Nahas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CF GRAND VALLE's Ilie Borogeanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ilie Borogeanu came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Port Edinburgh AFC's Tyler McThomas. But to his dismay, Tyler McThomas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 58 minutes into the match, CF GRAND VALLE's goal looked a bit too open when Tyler McThomas came free, but Ilie Borogeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes CF GRAND VALLE got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Bodiu. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Facundo Nahas sped through CF GRAND VALLE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ilie Borogeanu. Ilie Borogeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyler McThomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 67thth minute of the game Facundo Nahas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CF GRAND VALLE's Ilie Borogeanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 68 minutes of play CF GRAND VALLE's Leonard Bodiu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to CF GRAND VALLE getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Leonard Bodiu hit a great ball. Port Edinburgh AFC made a substitution. Darius Carlyle replaced Rupert Tosh. Port Edinburgh AFC's Harry Shaw was substituted for Joe Mathie. The supporters of Port Edinburgh AFC booed when CF GRAND VALLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Bodiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Tyler McThomas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilie Borogeanu was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. When Port Edinburgh AFC's Denis Morar in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CF GRAND VALLE's goalie prevented a goal. Port Edinburgh AFC made a substitution. Alan McKerlich replaced Facundo Nahas. Ilie Borogeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Morar in the 88th minute of play. Ilie Borogeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyler McThomas in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by CF GRAND VALLE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tyler McThomas was slow to take the kick. During this time Port Edinburgh AFC's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in CF GRAND VALLE's zone, Denis Morar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilie Borogeanu came out of the goal and Denis Morar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tyler McThomas took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilie Borogeanu. Ilie Borogeanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Port Edinburgh AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
