Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Ourente came free, but Farid Mondragón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcial Ourente in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Farid Mondragón saved C. A. Independiente from getting behind. Vicente Cerilo lost his temper 89 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 89th minute, Vicente Cerilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Los Indomables's Andrey Gavrilyak got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Los Indomables could leave the field as winners, despite C. A. Independiente having more of the ball for most of the match.
