Academia 1903's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godfredo Nuñez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Diego Cordario's late challenge caught a C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Cordario helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo booed when Academia 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Cordario didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Godfredo Nuñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Estevez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Orlanda hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Godfredo Nuñez might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Estevez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfredo Nuñez ran back to his position shaking his head. Juan Estevez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Nuñez came free, but Juan Estevez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Academia 1903 getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Diego Cordario hit a great ball. Godfredo Nuñez took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Estevez. Juan Estevez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 27th minute Teofilo Oxarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Estevez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Godfredo Nuñez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Estevez. Juan Estevez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Nuñez in the 32nd minute of the match. The C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Godfredo Nuñez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Juan Estevez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Jago in the 37th minute of the match. The throw-in from Abel Lartaun in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Lu Yang Xing. After having played for 46 minutes, Godfredo Nuñez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Nuñez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godfredo Nuñez was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Academia 1903 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Siro Orlanda hit a great ball. In the 55th minute of the match Teofilo Oxarra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Estevez skillfully saved the ball. Godfredo Nuñez had several of the Academia 1903's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Juan Estevez as he didn't even see the shot coming. Godfredo Nuñez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juan Estevez came out and tried to block the shot, but Godfredo Nuñez slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 61st minute. Juan Estevez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godfredo Nuñez in the 64th minute. Cristian Romero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juan Estevez came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Romero slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 67th minute. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo made a substitution. Aureliano Negro replaced Godfredo Nuñez. Luciano Segio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Juan Estevez made a huge save. In the 74th play minute Aureliano Negro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Juan Estevez. 0-8. Juan Estevez made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Luciano Segio sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the game, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Wilfredo Nikola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Estevez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Wilfredo Nikola took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Juan Estevez to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Aureliano Negro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juan Estevez. That made the score 0-11 in the 88 minute of play. Wilfredo Nikola received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juan Estevez came out and tried to block the shot, but Wilfredo Nikola slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Nikola in the 96th minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Juan Estevez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Academia 1903 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
