Hemming Tjørnum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerônimo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Rodolfo Txeru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perfecto Mongis having to interfere. Caminiaga's Hemming Tjørnum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Martins in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerônimo Martins to make the kick off. With a little luck, C.A. Caminiaga's Hemming Tjørnum got control of the ball when Jerônimo Martins tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Jerônimo Martins could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Hemming Tjørnum however easily saved by the left post. Hemming Tjørnum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Gant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Gaudencio Joseph in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.A. Caminiaga's Marciano Oidor. Gabriel Rey might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Perfecto Mongis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Rey ran back to his position shaking his head. Hemming Tjørnum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Gant, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute Osvaldo Iago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perfecto Mongis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Leoncio was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Iago in the 91st minute of play forced Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's goalkeeper Perfecto Mongis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A. Caminiaga were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
