In the 22nd minute Godfredo Nuñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Urdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petras Anusauskas was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Jacob Albuquerque capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacob Albuquerque really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Godfredo Nuñez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Urdin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. La Candela FC's Jacobo Urdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Nuñez in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute La Candela FC were awarded a corner. Gonzalo Soin went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on La Candela FC's corner Gonzalo Soin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Petras Anusauskas quite easily take care of the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Carmelo Sugar kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After having played for 52 minutes, Gonzalo Soin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Candela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Soin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godfredo Nuñez might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Urdin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfredo Nuñez ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Nuñez in the 64th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliano Negro in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Urdin saved La Candela FC from getting behind. In the 83rd minute of the match C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo got a corner. La Candela FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teofilo Oxarra ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pedro Udalaitz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Jacobo Urdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Negro in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Nikola dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacobo Urdin, 1-3. Jacobo Urdin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Negro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The La Candela FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's performance. The match ended with a win for C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo.
