Marcial Ourente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Hemming Tjørnum made a huge save. Osvaldo Iago scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anthony Bosco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcial Ourente's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hemming Tjørnum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcial Ourente kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hemming Tjørnum. That made the score 1-1 in the 17 minute of play. Marcial Ourente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Hemming Tjørnum made a huge save. Marcial Ourente's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Hemming Tjørnum skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 26 minutes into the match, C.A. Caminiaga's goalkeeper Hemming Tjørnum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcial Ourente. In the 28th minute, Marcial Ourente reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hemming Tjørnum. The goal made the score 2-1. When Los Indomables's Marcial Ourente in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Caminiaga's goalie prevented a goal. Marcial Ourentes short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Hemming Tjørnum to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hemming Tjørnum made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Marcial Ourente sent off a good shot on target. After 35 minutes, Marcial Ourente made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. C.A. Caminiaga's Hemming Tjørnum tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the C.A. Caminiaga defense, Sergio Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hemming Tjørnum. The C.A. Caminiaga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hemming Tjørnum should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ildefonso Bieito to make the kick off. If Ovidio Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Iago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Anthony Bosco made a huge save. Hemming Tjørnum came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Indomables's Marcial Ourente. But to his dismay, Marcial Ourente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Marcial Ourente struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Hemming Tjørnum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Indomables. Marcial Ourente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Hemming Tjørnum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hemming Tjørnum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Ourente in the 93rd minute of the match. When Melchor Frances fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Caminiaga's protests and gave Melchor Frances a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Los Indomables booed when C.A. Caminiaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Frances didn't get a good kick on the ball.
