To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Siro Orlanda hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Fidel Tadzio made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's Fidel Tadzio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hemming Tjørnum narrowly saved just below the crossbar. C.A. Caminiaga's Hemming Tjørnum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Orlanda in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Academia 1903 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Patrido to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Iago came free, but Juan Estevez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ildefonso Bieito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A. Caminiaga walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
