The audience was convinced that Edmundo Mendes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Perfecto Mongis was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Perfecto Mongis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Perfecto Mongis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerônimo Martins was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Mendes in the 52nd minute of play forced Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's goalkeeper Perfecto Mongis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
