C.A. Caminiaga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sidney Forbes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hemming Tjørnum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xu Yun Quan, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute Xu Yun Quan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hemming Tjørnum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xu Yun Quan in the 16th minute of play forced C.A. Caminiaga's goalkeeper Hemming Tjørnum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorino Frasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Farid Mondragón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hemming Tjørnum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xu Yun Quan in the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorino Frasco got free with Farid Mondragón in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, C.A. Caminiaga's goal looked a bit too open when Xu Yun Quan came free, but Hemming Tjørnum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kerry Sellers in the 27th minute of play forced C.A. Caminiaga's goalkeeper Hemming Tjørnum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hemming Tjørnum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Marangoni went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Hemming Tjørnum came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Independiente's Kerry Sellers. But to his dismay, Kerry Sellers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Hemming Tjørnum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerry Sellers in the 36th minute of the match. Hemming Tjørnum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerry Sellers in the 39th minute of play. Xu Yun Quan took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hemming Tjørnum. Hemming Tjørnum dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Elias Lluc kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, C.A. Caminiaga's goal looked a bit too open when Xu Yun Quan came free, but Hemming Tjørnum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The C.A. Caminiaga players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C. A. Independiente were winning 0-4.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorino Frasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Melvin Ruffin hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. C.A. Caminiaga's Hemming Tjørnum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerry Sellers in the 53rd minute of play. Hemming Tjørnum was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Sidney Forbes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sidney Forbes really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. In the 61st minute Xu Yun Quan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hemming Tjørnum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Claudio Marangoni reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hemming Tjørnum. The goal made the score 0-6. After a rather tough play, C.A. Caminiaga's Victorino Frasco got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 68 minutes, Osvaldo Iago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Caminiaga and the C. A. Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. Horacio Ranolfo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Snowden got free with Hemming Tjørnum in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Kerry Sellers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hemming Tjørnum was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. C. A. Independiente were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after C.A. Caminiaga's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eric Snowden took the corner. Claudio Marangoni hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Hemming Tjørnum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerry Sellers in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, C.A. Caminiaga's goal looked a bit too open when Kerry Sellers came free, but Hemming Tjørnum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of C. A. Independiente booed when C.A. Caminiaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Lluc didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Kerry Sellers made a precise shot to the right of Hemming Tjørnum. C.A. Caminiaga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7.
