In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Distribuidora 25 de mayo's goalkeeper Rosendo Gustau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Distribuidora 25 de mayo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Gualterio Perez had several of the C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Petras Anusauskas as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 14th minute, Godfredo Nuñez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rosendo Gustau was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Rosendo Gustau came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Godfredo Nuñez. But to his dismay, Godfredo Nuñez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Petras Anusauskas was a little too slow when Manuel Lohitzun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-2. Teodoro Calvino got a throw-in 38 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hipolito Aurken. Godfredo Nuñez might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosendo Gustau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfredo Nuñez ran back to his position shaking his head. Rosendo Gustau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Nuñez in the 39th minute of the match. Manuel Lohitzun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Petras Anusauskas made a huge save. After 45 played minutes Distribuidora 25 de mayo got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Txeru. In the 47th minute, Teodoro Calvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Manuel Lohitzun made the kick off in the second half. Rosendo Gustau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Gavino Iturri kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Teodoro Calvino made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dario Dorio. Rosendo Gustau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Nuñez in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Distribuidora 25 de mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Nuñez came free, but Rosendo Gustau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosendo Gustau was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Godfredo Nuñez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Godfredo Nuñez really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Distribuidora 25 de mayo's Edelmiro Paez got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Wilfredo Nikola was substituted for Erasmo Jago. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Distribuidora 25 de mayo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo:s goal. 82 minutes into the match, Distribuidora 25 de mayo's goalkeeper Rosendo Gustau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfredo Nikola. If Hipolito Aurken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Nikola in the 91st minute of play forced Distribuidora 25 de mayo's goalkeeper Rosendo Gustau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Nikola recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rosendo Gustau. Wilfredo Nikola showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. After 97 minutes of play, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Aureliano Negro made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rosendo Gustau was left in no man's land by his defense there!
