Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wilfredo Beturian kicked off to start the match. Lautaro Puig's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonas Maria firmly grabbed it by the left post. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Beturian in the 5th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Beturian came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Haritzeder in the 10th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Elodio in the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Feliberto Haritzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tucu FC the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Beturian in the 20th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Feliberto Haritzeder got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Haritzeder in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Feliberto Haritzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfredo Beturian's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Haritzeder in the 31st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Tucu FC's Placido Elodio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Placido Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Abel Carballo put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Tucu FC a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jose Laffitte, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. 0-2. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tucu FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliseo Noboa was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Tucu FC's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Feliberto Haritzeder, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wilfredo Beturian in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Placido Elodio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Placido Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Elodio got free with Benito Sanz in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfredo Beturian went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 68th minute, Tucu FC's Wilfredo Beturian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 70th minute, Tucu FC's Wilfredo Beturian dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th play minute Placido Elodio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 0-6. If Wilfredo Beturian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 84 minutes into the match, Placido Elodio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Placido Elodio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Elodio in the 87th minute of the match. When the match was over Tucu FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
