The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Flying Dutch's Niceto Xacintu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Basilio Lain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Venezuela's Jose Correa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eurico Batista in the 23 minute of the game. Niceto Xacintu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niceto Xacintu struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flying Dutch. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Eurico Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. A throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game was made by Shen Fan Shu with Eurico Batista as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 60th match minute, Flying Dutch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Xacintu to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Shen Fan Shu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arthur Amorim was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Patricio Costa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patricio Costa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 69 minutes into the match, Niceto Xacintu notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Flying Dutch getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Jardel Pinheiro hit a great ball. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Arthur Amorim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Lain, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 76 minutes, Niceto Xacintu made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Niceto Xacintu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Higinio Raymundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Flying Dutch had played much better football throughout.
